You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone
Hello, I’m Eric Hancock, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and South Carolina Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I work with individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health challenges, recognizing that these issues often occur together and benefit from integrated treatment.
Using a person-centered approach combined with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and relapse-prevention strategies, I support each client’s unique path toward recovery, healing, and emotional wellness.
My goal is to help people feel understood, regain confidence, and move forward with strength and hope.

Experienced Support for Recovery & Healing
I have many years of experience working in residential treatment settings as both an individual therapist and family program leader. My work has included helping individuals manage high-risk situations, develop relapse-prevention skills, and strengthen family relationships through education and therapeutic support. I believe healing happens when people feel heard, supported, and empowered to rediscover themselves and move toward a healthier future.
About Eric.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and South Carolina Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I’m privileged to work with people experiencing substance use challenges, addiction, mental health concerns, and the impact these issues have on families and loved ones.
I believe mental health and substance use concerns are deeply connected and should be treated together through an integrated and compassionate approach.
My counseling style is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and relapse-prevention strategies. Over the years, I have worked extensively in residential treatment facilities, helping clients and families navigate recovery, healing, and long-term wellness.
I understand that every individual’s journey is different. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and hopeful about the future.
Sometimes healing begins simply by no longer feeling alone.
I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey toward peace, growth, and recovery.
